Hyundai Department Store announced plans to build a next-generation complex mall, The Hyundai Busan, in Eco Delta City, Daejo-dong, Gangseo-gu.
Construction is set to begin as early as October 2025, with an official opening targeted for the first half of 2027.
Spanning a 111,000㎡ site with a total floor area of 200,000㎡, The Hyundai Busan will be the first to feature the company’s new ‘The Hyundai 2.0’ retail model.
This platform integrates department store, outlet, and cultural elements, reflecting the regional identity of Busan while offering a hybrid shopping experience, combining premium indoor stores with outdoor outlet spaces.
Roughly half of the retail space will be dedicated to immersive content inspired by global landmarks like Bryant Park and the Grand Palais.
The mall will also showcase Busan’s maritime culture through themed zones, glocal storytelling, and cultural content targeting younger consumers.
