Lotte Hi-Mart has become the first domestic distributor in South Korea to operate as an Apple-authorized service reception agent.
Starting immediately, 89 Lotte Hi-Mart stores nationwide will provide official repair reception services for Apple products, marking a significant expansion in convenient customer support for Apple users across the country.
This move brings the total number of Hi-Mart locations offering Apple service to 110, including 21 stores already equipped to conduct on-site repairs.
Customers can check the list of participating locations through the Lotte Hi-Mart online shopping mall.
These service centers will operate according to standard Lotte Hi-Mart store hours—including weekends, making repair access easier for busy users.
The only exceptions are Korea’s two major holidays: Lunar New Year and Chuseok. The service covers all major Apple product lines, including iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, and AirPods, but excludes desktops, integrated PCs, and monitors.
In a first-of-its-kind collaboration in Korea, Lotte Hi-Mart has also introduced a dedicated pre-diagnosis program developed with Apple. This program allows trained staff to quickly determine whether a customer’s issue is related to usage, hardware, or software. If the product doesn’t require repair, the issue can be resolved on the spot based on the program’s troubleshooting guide.
If repair is needed, staff will explain the estimated cost and turnaround time before initiating service. Repairs will be processed through TUVA, an Apple-authorized service provider. Once repairs are complete, customers will be notified to return to the store for pickup.
Lotte Hi-Mart plans to leverage this partnership to strengthen its global brand repair service strategy, which already supports around 170 leading brands such as ASUS, HP, and Roborock. Of those, approximately 150 are serviced directly through Hi-Mart’s nationwide network of service centers.
