Dongbaek Sanghoe, located on the second basement floor of Shinsegae Department Store Centum City Branch, will hold a month-long discount event from June 4 to 30, offering 30% off all items.
The promotion highlights the newly selected products for the 2025 Dongbaek Sanghoe Featured Items, chosen through a review process involving city officials and Shinsegae.
A total of 30 items from local small businesses are included in the sale.
Shoppers can find a variety of regional specialties such as traditional liquor, craft beer, local teas, seasoning oils, natural honey, fan goods featuring the city mascot Boogi, souvenirs like keychains and magnets, and practical daily items including aprons and storage containers.
Launched in March 2023, Dongbaek Sanghoe is a collaboration between Busan City and Shinsegae to support regional SMEs and expand sales channels. The store aims to become a go-to destination for Busan-made goods and a platform for launching local brands into broader domestic and global markets.
Busan City is also enhancing product design, creating curated “Dongbaek Sanghoe Editions,” and planning seasonal sales events, while promoting the shop through festivals and programs like the Visit Busan Pass to attract both domestic and international visitors.
