Jinju City will once again transform its iconic Jinjuseong Fortress into a dazzling nighttime cultural destination with two major events: the 2025 National Heritage Media Art Jinjuseong from August 15 to September 7, and the Jinju National Heritage Night Tour from August 29 to 31.
Now in its second year, the Media Art Festival will blend digital technology with history under the theme “Innovation in Law, Jinjuseong Map,” featuring immersive installations across historic sites like Gongbukmun Gate, Chokseokru, and Ui-am. Highlights include projection mapping, interactive sound displays, kinetic lantern art, and XR experiences centered on the legendary figure Nongae.
The Night Tour, in its fourth year, offers eight themed nighttime experiences ranging from historic reenactments, silk road storytelling, night markets, and immersive art zones, to eco-friendly overnight stays.
Together, the two events are cementing Jinju’s status as Korea’s leading night-time cultural tourism city, where history, art, and local pride converge under the stars.
