The city of Busan has launched a special event to revitalize the local economy and encourage the use of its regional currency, Dongbaekjeon.
Running through August 31, the event targets both ordinary citizens who use consumer coupons and newly registered merchants who accept Dongbaekjeon payments.
During the event period, citizens who spend a cumulative 180,000 won or more using Dongbaekjeon will be automatically entered into a prize draw. Winners will receive policy support funds of:

₩50,000 (1st prize – 10 winners)

₩30,000 (2nd prize – 100 winners)

₩20,000 (3rd prize – 5,000 winners)
At the same time, new merchant signups will also be eligible for a separate prize draw, with similar rewards for up to 630 businesses.
