Seoul Metropolitan Government will invite 100 underprivileged citizens, including single-parent families and self-supporting youth, to the highly anticipated friendly match between FC Seoul and FC Barcelona tonight at 8 p.m. at Seoul World Cup Stadium.
Part of the FC Barcelona 2025 Asia Tour Edition, the match marks the first-ever friendly in Korea between FC Seoul, the K League club with over 500,000 cumulative spectators, and FC Barcelona, the globally acclaimed Spanish La Liga team.
Seoul City preselected the 100 participants through related institutions to offer those with limited access to international sporting events the chance to witness world-class football live. The initiative aims to create meaningful memories and provide inclusive experiences through sports.
Since 2023, Seoul has partnered with FC Seoul on a variety of social contribution programs, including discounted match tickets for underprivileged groups and large families. The city plans to continue building a sports-friendly environment where all citizens can participate and enjoy.
As part of ongoing efforts, a 20–30% ticket discount will be offered to families with multiple children for the August 8 K League 1 home match between FC Seoul and Daegu FC, along with on-site family activities such as shooting events.
