The “2024 YOLO Galmatgil Together Walking Event,” which runs through December 8, is an event that offers a variety of themed walking programs along Busan’s scenic Galmatgil trails, designed for citizens, tourists, and walking enthusiasts alike.
The “YOLO Galmatgil” event is centered around the idea of enjoying life (“You Only Live Once”) while exploring the natural beauty of Busan’s Galmatgil trails.
The program features six unique walking experiences, including the YOLO Galmatgil, Regular Galmatgil, Moonlight Galmatgil, Together Galmatgil, Galmatgil Expedition, and Galmatgil Pam Tour, aimed at promoting Busan’s trail network as both a walking and tourism destination.
The walking event spans all nine sections of Galmatgil, covering 23 routes and a total of 278.8 kilometers.
It is open to all participants, including locals, tourists from Korea and abroad, walking enthusiasts, and even people with limited mobility.
A special Galmatgil exploration tour will be held for citizens from other regions, further expanding the event’s reach nationwide.
Trained trekking guides will accompany participants to ensure a safe and enjoyable walking experience. The event is free of charge, and those interested can register on a first-come, first-served basis through the official Galmatgil website (www.Galmatgil.kr).
