The city of Busan will operate its first-half 2025 Marine Healing Tourism Program from May 17 to July 12, offering weekend wellness experiences at seven beaches and waterfront parks, including Gwangalli, Haeundae, and Suyeong’s Naru Park.
Now in its fifth year, the program has become a signature healing tourism event that blends the city’s marine landscapes with wellness and local culture.
This year, four main activities will be featured: Beach Yoga, Sunset Pilates, Sweat Beach (high-intensity beach workouts), and Ocean Running, a unique seaside run offering both slow-paced and goal-oriented options.
All four programs require advance reservations and cost 1,000 won each. Sessions are limited to about 30 participants for an immersive, small-group experience.
Registration opens on May 9 through the official website BusanMarineHealing.kr, with a 50 percent discount available for early applicants by May 16.
Two special programs will follow in mid-June: Sound Walking, a guided nature walk using headsets to enhance sensory awareness, and Yacht Retreat, which offers sound therapy and singing bowl meditation aboard a yacht.
Schedules and details for each program, including participation fees for the special sessions, will be updated on the official website.
