A gas station may not be the first place that comes to mind when you’re looking for a bagel in Busan, but this unorthodox shop is well worth a visit for its delicious bagels, sandwiches, and coffee.
Located in Mangmi-dong somewhat hidden within an SK Gas station, it serves up some delicious treats well-worth a visit if you’re in the area.
After a Costco visit late last November and in need of gas, I stumbled upon the shop which offers a variety of delicious homemade bagels, and decided to pick up a few.
They had said they were eventually going to offer sandwiches which are now available — and they didn’t disappoint.
The shop offers a Montreal-style bagel which are considered smaller and thinner than their popular New York counterpart.
The characteristic of the bagel manufacturing method in Montreal is that the bagel is slightly boiled in hot water mixed with honey and baked in a high-temperature oven, resulting in an excellent light taste and chewy texture.

They offer about 10 varieties, including plain, pumpkin cream cheese, basil emmental, olive cheese, walnut cranberry, salt pretzel, fig, dark chocolate, matcha, and garlic cream cheese beginning at around 3,000 won each.
They also make their own in-house, fresh cream cheese with about seven options to choose from.
Sandwiches include a pastrami, Philly sandwich and cheese, and a Korean beef premium burger beginning at 10,900 won.
They are quite large and very tasty, though I would say the pastrami option tasted a little more like roast beef.
A variety of coffees, teas, and smoothies are also available.
Be advised there is no indoor dining available and the bagels are baked fresh daily each morning.
Delivery within the district is also available.
