Outdoor swimming pools around the city have opened up for those looking to cool off from the summer heat. Here’s a list of public pools where you can go take a dip.
Samnak Outdoor Swimming Pool
Opening Period: Saturday, July 1 – Sunday, September 3
Open daily from Saturday, July 15
Location: Samnak Ecological Park
Hours of Operation: 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Fees: 4,000 won for adults, 3,000 won for youths, 2,000 won for children, free for children ages 5 and under

How to get there: Take about 20 minutes walk from Sasang Station or Deokpo Station, Metro Line No. 2 or take Bus No. 123, 126 or 138-1 and get off at Samnak Ecological Park Bus Stop.
Hwamyeong Outdoor Swimming Pool
Opening Period: Saturday, July 15 – Sunday, September 3
Location: Hwamyeong Ecological Park
Hours of Operation: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Fees: 4,000 won for adults, 3,000 won for youths, 2,000 won for children, free for children ages 5 and under
How to get there: Take Metro Line No. 2 to Sujeong Station then leave by Exit No. 3, or take Bus No. 15, 59, 111, 121, 126 or 1009 and get off at Sujeong Station.

Busan Port Outdoor Swimming Pool
The swimming pool uses tepid spring water of 28.6℃ discovered in the North Port redevelopment site.
Summer Season Opening: July 7 – August 31, 2017
Location: Busan Port International Passenger Terminal Outdoor Parking Lot
Admission fees: 5,000 won for adults (ages 19 and over), 4,000 won for youths (ages 14-18), 3,000 won for children (ages 6-13), free for children (ages 5 and less)
Hours: 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. (last admission is 6:00 p.m.)

Water Park at Spo1 Park
Summer Season Opening: July 1 – August 31, 2017
Location: Spo1 Park
Hours: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
It is closed on the second and fourth Monday of the month.
The admission is 12,000 won for children and 15,000 won for adults during weekdays, and 15,000 won for children and 18,000 won for adults on weekends, while during the peak summer season from July 24 – August 6, it is 15,000 won for children and 18,000 won for adults during weekdays and weekends.
Directions: Metro Line 1, Nopo Station → transfer to Village/Neighborhood Bus nos. 2-2 or 2-3
