Under the bright summer sun, Nakdong River Ecological Parks across Busan are blooming into a vibrant floral spectacle, drawing locals and tourists alike to enjoy nature in full color.
From Hwamyeong to Samrak, Daejeo, and Macdo, each park is showcasing a unique display of seasonal flowers at their peak.
The Nakdong River Management Headquarters announced that since May, 13 flower beds across the ecological parks have been cultivated with a variety of summer blooms, now in full blossom.
At Hwamyeong Ecological Park, visitors can admire bright yellow sulfur cosmos, creeping dayflowers, and white-flowered carpenter’s country along the scenic Metasequoia Road. Near the traditional play yard, a newly created 1,100㎡ flower field features Hongdaepsari and cosmos, offering a dreamy landscape ideal for photography.
Samrak Ecological Park offers perennial grasses and sulfur cosmos, while lotus flowers add elegance to ponds near parking areas.
Daejeo Ecological Park is alive with perennial verbena and cosmos, painting the park in shades of purple and pink.
Macdo Ecological Park boasts a massive 125,000㎡ lotus pond near Shindeok Wetland. A wooden deck trail allows visitors to walk right up to the blooming lotus flowers. Along the Nakdonggang 30-ri embankment trail, also known as Lee Bokkot Road, walkers can experience the full charm of this natural haven.
The city encourages residents and visitors to take a peaceful stroll through these lush parks and enjoy a refreshing escape from the summer heat, right in the heart of the city.
