Jeonggwan Museum opened in Jeongwan-myeon, Gijang-gun on January 26, 2015, and is dedicated to bringing to life the history of the Three Kingdoms of Korea and is the first of its kind in the country.Construction on the museum broke ground in July 2011 and was completed in December 2014.
A three-story building, the museum features a permanent and special exhibition hall, children’s experience area, a library, information desk, and outdoor exhibition park.
Various relics excavated during the Jeonggwan New Town Development project will be displayed to show what kind of life people led during the Three Kingdoms Period.
A replica village is housed in the outdoor exhibition park located in the rear of the museum, and displays a house, workshop, watchtower, well, storage area, fence, and shrine.

The museum is open from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and closed every Monday and New Year’s Day. Admission is free, and for more information, please contact the Junggwan Museum at (051)720-6900.
