Foreign Residents Share Daily Life in Busan in New City Video Series

The city of Busan has launched a new video content series titled “If I’m Born Again, I Want to Live in Busan Too,” offering a foreign resident’s perspective on daily life in the city.

The series, which began airing on July 8 on the city’s official YouTube channel, Busan Tube, aims to highlight Busan’s appeal as a global city through the eyes of international residents.

The video series features foreigners of various nationalities who currently live in Busan, sharing personal stories and reflections about their experiences.

Rather than focusing on tourism, the series explores Busan as a place to live, offering insights into local culture, infrastructure, and everyday convenience from a non-Korean perspective.

The first episode features Sonoka, a student from Japan, who shares her views on cultural differences between Korea and Japan and how she has found happiness living in Busan.

Future episodes will spotlight residents from India, Mexico, Russia, and other countries, each offering unique viewpoints on the city’s atmosphere, services, and multicultural environment.

By combining documentary-style interviews and vlog elements, the series presents an authentic and personal look at life in Busan.

Upcoming episodes include Prenyu from India, who discusses Busan’s smart city infrastructure, and Carla from Mexico, who is participating in Korean language education and job training through the city’s multicultural family programs.

The series will run in five parts and is part of Busan’s broader initiative to promote the city as an inclusive, livable, and globally connected urban center.
