BIFF heads into its first weekend with lots of screenings and planned activities around the Cinema Center on Friday.

Hand Printing Ceremony
Every year, the Busan International Film Festival selects great filmmakers who will be remembered in the history of cinema and holds a hand-printing event.

On the occasion of the special exhibition of the late actor Lee Seon-kyun, the director and co-stars of his masterpieces such as All the Way to the End, My Uncle, and Land of Happiness and fellow actors from his most famous films.

BIFF Everywhere
BIFF Everywhere is a community-friendly film festival enjoyed in everyday life. BIFF Everywhere connects regions, cultures, generation and the future. Some of the venues include Hwangnyeongsan Mt. Beacon Fire Station Outdoor Park, one of Busan’s top night view spots; Millak Waterfront Park in Suyeong-gu; and Bongsan Village in Yeongdo, which all evoke the excitement of discovering a travel destination while showcasing Busan’s hidden charms.

Community BIFF
Community BIFF is the community-led cultural celebration in charge of the festivity of the Busan International Film Festival. Community BIFF takes place in Nampo-dong, which was the heart of the festival for 15 years since the Busan International Film Festival began in 1996, until the dedicated Busan Cinema Center was constructed.
