    Outdoor Greeting

    A 20-minute long outdoor stage greeting of the directors and actors of the films invited to the Busan International Film Festival to briefly introduce the film.

    Special Event

    Created in 2024 to celebrate the power of women in film, the Camellia Award is given to a prominent filmmaker or industry professional whose work has enhanced the status of women in the field.

    BIFF Everywhere

    BIFF Everywhere is a community-friendly film festival that is enjoyed in everyday life. BIFF Everywhere connects regions, cultures, generations, and the future. Some of the venues include Hwangnyeongsan Mt. Beacon Fire Station Outdoor Park, one of Busan’s top night view spots; Millak Waterfront Park in Suyeong-gu; and Bongsan Village in Yeongdo, which all evoke the excitement of discovering a travel destination while showcasing Busan’s hidden charms.

    Dates: October 3-9 in Busan, October 10 in Seoul

    Community BIFF

    Community BIFF is the community-led cultural celebration in charge of the festivity of the Busan International Film Festival. Community BIFF takes place in Nampo-dong, which was the heart of the festival for 15 years since the Busan International Film Festival began in 1996, until the dedicated Busan Cinema Center was constructed.
