The iPhone X is set to be much higher priced in Korea compared to other countries according to local media reports.
A 64-gigabyte model is set to be priced at 1.42 million won and 1.63 million won for a 256GB model.
While the 64-gigabyte model is priced at about $1,272 in Korea, Japan is nearly $300 cheaper to purchase the phone which also retails for $999 in the United States.
No date has been set for its release in Korea, while sales in 55 countries worldwide begin today.
