Eight Korean middle and high school students who were involved in a traffic accident around Phnom Penh in Cambodia yesterday were students of South Gyeongsang province.
South Gyeongsang provincial office of education confirmed the students injured in the traffic accident in Cambodia as five students from Sancheong Middle School, two students from Sancheong High School and one student who will be entering Sancheong High School.
Among them, four students were reported to be badly injured, two of which are in critical health conditions, and the remaining four students were slightly injured.
South Gyeongsang provincial office education said that the students left for Cambodia for voluntary work and tourism.
The local driver of the bus was killed as the students were moving from Siem Reap to Sihanoukville when the accident occurred. The cause of the accident has not been released.
