An elegant display of lotus flowers is now unfolding at the Joman River Ecological Sports Park in Gimhae.
Covering a 20,000㎡ waterside area developed by the Gimhae City Agricultural Technology Center, the lotus field was created in a former green barley field next to the park.
This year’s bloom began in late June, slightly earlier than usual, with delicate pink and white lotus flowers now gracing the landscape.
The blooms are expected to reach their peak by mid-July.
Visitors walking along the lotus path can experience one of the city’s most picturesque summer scenes.
