Caffe Bene leads the way in health safety violations in the country according to a recent report released by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.
The country’s leading coffee chain had 62 violations between June 2011 and June 2015, followed by Tom N Toms, Angel-in-Us and Holly’s Coffee.
Of the 10 coffee chains monitored, Coffee Gurunara had the least infractions while Starbucks and Coffee Bean tied for second least with 11 each.
Infractions included failure to conduct food safety training, operating outside their designated premises and selling food past its expiration date.
