Busan Bites: Legit Coffee Roasters Lives Up to Its Name

Tucked away off the main road in Yangjeong, halfway between Yangjeong and City Hall stations, Legit Coffee Roasters is a great spot to get an early morning caffeine fix.

The interior is styled very traditionally, like a small family home from the Japanese occupation has been transported into modern day Busan — and the pricing is almost as vintage too! I had an espresso macchiato for 3,000 won though it’s not on the menu but if ask for it, you shall receive.

The beans are roasted on site and you can choose from two blends; something a little darker, with chocolate and nutty undertones. Or a fresher, zestier blend that is quite floral without some of the sour front palates that existed in a lot of floral blends.

The owners are avid gardeners so it’s a great place to relax and have a coffee like you are drinking coffee in a rainforest village where you can see the beans growing on the mountainside.

They are open from 9 am until 6 pm; they do take Sundays off, however.
