While this place certainly needs no introduction to expats in Busan, those who are visiting or curious about American-style BBQ will definitely want to put it on their to-go list.
Located on the first floor of the Pale de Cz Building in Haeundae, Haeundae Smokehouse puts out some extremely tasty dishes that makes one reminisce of backyard barbecues in the States.
It’s not hard to find it if you’re looking — just look for the smoker out front, or better yet, just smell the bbq and follow your nose. With what they call “all natural meat and pure wood smoke”, they take great care and pride to prepare their dishes.
With chicken, sausages, pulled pork, ribs and brisket to choose from — and it’s not an easy choice — go all in and try them all.
But don’t forget about the sides — the mac and cheese, brown beans and mashed potatoes are some of the best I’ve ever had.
Prices range from about 12,000 won to 18,000 won for between 170 grams to 250 grams of meat. It’s a bit small for the price, but it sure makes up for it with the flavors and taste.
If you’re looking to spend a bit more for a quality meal, you want to give this place a go. Craft beer is also available as well as weekend specials and brunch.
There’s seating for around 30 and you can park in the basement.
