진리 [ jilli ]

진리 means ‘truth’, or ‘true / common principle‘. However, 진리 more often means ‘the best within the category‘ in conversations.

ex)

불고기에는 소주가 진리야.  (Soju is best (진리) with bulgogi.)

정장은 검은색이 진리이지.  (Black is best (진리) for suits.)
