해장 [ haejang ]
해장 is a noun, meaning relieving the hangover from the day before or drinking a little with possibly some soup to do that. Many Koreans have different kinds of soup for 해장 and it is called 해장국 [ haejangguk ]. In the same way, the alcohol is called 해장술 [ haejangsul ].
ex)
어제 술을 많이 마셨더니, 해장을 해야겠다. (I drank so much yesterday and I need to do 해장.)
같이 해장국 먹으러 가요. (Let’s go to have 해장국.)
