The Lotte Giants announced that former pitcher Ryan Sadowski has been hired as a foreign scout. He pitched for the team starting in 2010 for three years.
Sadowski is very familiar with the Korean pro-baseball league and it is expected that his fluency in Korean will help with transitioning foreign players, as well as supporting the mutual cooperation between the Lotte Giants and major league teams in the U.S.
The 33-year-old will be based in the U.S. to scout minor and major leaguers.
