The Busan Metropolitan Government and the Busan Design Promotion Agency will host a series of events on March 3 and 5 to mark the 100-day anniversary of the Busan Brand Shop (Big Shop).
Opened on November 25, 2023, in Gwangbok-ro, Jung-gu, the Busan Brand Shop was established to enhance the city’s brand recognition and showcase Busan-themed merchandise.
The shop features a brand experience and exhibition space on the first floor and a merchandise display and sales area on the second floor.
To commemorate the milestone, a special event will take place on March 3 at the Busan Brand Shop, featuring giveaways, exclusive merchandise, and interactive experiences.
In the afternoon at 4 p.m., the city mascot ‘Boogi’ will distribute Baekseolgi (Korean rice cakes) to visitors.
Additionally, a limited edition ‘Big Bag’ (eco bag), filled with special fan goods such as a Boogi plush toy and coffee drip bag, will be available for just 100 won (limited to 100 pieces).
A new collection of 21 exclusive fan merchandise items created in collaboration with local brand partners will also be unveiled, including four plush toys, 12 magnets, two types of coffee, one mug, and two keychains.
Visitors who purchase goods worth 10,000 won or more will be entered into a raffle for a random gift box.
On March 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m, the Big Shop 100-Day Market will be held in the lobby of Busan City Hall’s main auditorium.
The event will showcase popular Busan-themed merchandise co-produced with 20 local brand partners, offering visitors an opportunity to explore and purchase unique Busan fan goods.
The market will feature a sales booth, a Busan fan merchandise photo zone, and various promotional activities. Products will include coffee drip bags, cookies, keychains, seaweed, and more, all designed to reflect Busan’s unique identity.
The photo zone, themed “Happy 100 Days, Big Shop!”, will allow visitors to take fun pictures with Boogi and Busan city branding elements.
To further engage visitors, the 100-Day Market will offer coffee tasting sessions, Baekseolgi giveaways, and a ‘Create Your Own Busan Keychain’ workshop. These activities aim to introduce Busan’s brand identity in a fun and interactive way.
