The Busan Infrastructure Corporation will begin accepting applications for the “Citizen Flower Garden” for citizens to grow their own flower garden and cultivate it for themselves in Busan Civic Park from the 26th until February the 6th.
The citizen flower garden covers 846 square meters in the park, and is divided into 94 sections of flower gardens of 9 square meters each. Among them, 70 sections are for groups and the remaining 24 sections are for individuals.
Groups can use up to 10 sections, while individuals are limited to only one section.
The period of use for the garden is from March the first to the end of December, with garden fees costing 3,000 won for one square meter yearly.
Only flowers and grass are permitted in the garden. Crops, creepers and tall plants are prohibited.
