An official in Busan Suyeong-gu said the district plans to create an urban forest, a meditation forest, and a scenic forest before June this year.
The gu will maintain the playgrounds at the Parangsae Children’s Park in Gwangan-dong by investing 100 million won and create an urban forest in the park to make it a more comfortable resting place.
It will also invest 60 million won to plant trees and install convenience facilities around Min-an Elementary School in Millak dong, making the area a meditation forest for students and local residents.
Lastly, the gu will install a viewing deck and handrails on the mountain rail of Geumryeonsan Youth Training Center to create a scenic forest to view Gwanganlli Beach and Gwangan Bridge.
