The Busan Regional Meteorological Administration announced that azaleas have begun blooming in Busan. This year’s bloom comes 17 days later than last year and four days later than average.
For Busan, azaleas began sprouting on March 10, and took 13 days to reach their full bloom.
The administration also stated that the reason for the late bloom was due to a regional cold front decreasing the average temperature in the area by 1.4 degrees below the monthly average.
