The night opening for swimming at Haeundae Beach will be on a trial run this summer.
Haeundae-gu plans to extend opening hours for part of Haeundae Beach to the public until 9 p.m. from July 11 – 24, 2016. The beach was previously open to the public for swimming until 6:30p.m. during the summer season.
A 200 X 50 meter area in front of the tourist information center building in Haeundae Beach will be opened for night swimming.
Beachgoers can have a unique night experience at the beach this summer..
The night opening period of Haeundae Beach in summer plans to be extended next year after the trial operation of two weeks this year.
Swimming could be prohibited at Haeundae Beach due to strong currents, inclement weather and unforeseen circumstances.
