The city office has decided to construct a park that will be four times bigger than Busan Citizen’s Park as well as a folk village in Dunchido in Gangseo-gu.
The city held a briefing session on establishing an urban management plan and beginning research by using a blueprint of Dunchido for creating the Dunchido Cultural and Ecological Park.
The city also plans on dividing the park into three sections — a Culture Zone with a folk village that includes recreational and lodging facilities, a Park Zone complete with a large-scale garde and experience forest as well as an Eco-Zone, which is a large-scale wetland area.
