The average age of first marriage of women in Busan has exceeded 30 years of age for the first time, as more and more women are delaying tying the knot in recent years.. The Busan Women and Family Development Institute said it has published their annual report of Busan women and family statistics for 2014.
According to the report, the average age of first marriage of women is 30.1 years old, while men’s is 32.3.
This marks an increase of 3.4 years for women and 2.9 years for men in comparison to 2000.
